Testimonials

If you submit a testimonial through navaigate.dev, we (NavAIgate GmbH & Co. KG, Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße 59, 85055 Ingolstadt) process the following about you.

What we collect

  • The content you provide: your name, your role, your company, your written quote, and — if you choose — a photograph and/or a video you record or upload.
  • A contact email address, so we can administer your testimonial and act on any withdrawal (not published).
  • A consent record: the date and time you gave consent, the version of the consent text you agreed to, and which permissions you granted (website; and, if ticked, wider marketing).
  • Technical anti-spam verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) to stop automated submissions.

Why, and on what legal basis

  • We publish your testimonial to show the experience of people who have worked with NavAIgate. Because a testimonial can identify you (and a photo or video shows your likeness and voice), we rely on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — and, for your image, in line with § 22 KUG. Publication is entirely voluntary and giving consent is not a condition of any service.
  • We keep the consent record to demonstrate that consent was validly given (Art. 7(1) GDPR — our legal obligation and legitimate interest in being able to prove lawfulness).

Publication and review

Submissions appear on the site immediately, marked as awaiting review; we check every submission after publication and remove anything inappropriate. You can withdraw your testimonial at any time (see below), after which it is taken down and the media deleted. If a testimonial names or shows you and you have not agreed to that, email dw@navaigate.dev and we will remove it as a priority.

Where it is stored

Written details and your consent record are held in our database (Supabase). Photos and videos are held in object storage (Backblaze B2), in the EU (eu-central-003) region. Where a provider processes data on our behalf we have a data-processing agreement in place, and any transfer outside the EU/EEA is covered by appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses / the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). Before your video is published we convert it to a standard format and remove location and other metadata (EXIF) from photos.

How long we keep it

We keep a published testimonial for as long as it is on the site. When you withdraw consent, or when we take a testimonial down, we unpublish it promptly and delete the photo/video files. We retain only the consent-and-withdrawal record afterwards, and only for as long as we may need it to prove the processing was lawful, after which we delete it too.

Withdrawing consent / asking for removal

You can withdraw your consent, or ask us to remove your testimonial, at any time and without giving a reason — email dw@navaigate.dev. We will unpublish it promptly (see our published turnaround below) and confirm when it is done. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of anything published before you withdrew.

Your rights

You also have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority (for us, the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA). See the Your rights section of this policy for how to exercise them.
